Archery Nova Scotia (ANS) has entered their third year of the Nova Scotia Performance Pathways Initiative (NSPPI). This plan, created in collaboration with the Province of Nova Scotia (Communities, Culture, and Heritage) and the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic (CSCA), is intended to produce winning athletes at the National level in the 14-21 age groups. The AANS Vice President of High Performance, along with the High Performance committee, is responsible for the development and oversight of the High Performance Program. Six key areas of the program were identified within the plan: athlete development, coaches and officials, competition, daily training environment, sport science, and governance/management.
